We have heavy rain almost every weekend in our area.
I gave up going fishing yesterday, and decided to take a long-distance run in the rain.
Immediately after finishing lunch, I left my house with some changes in my pockets a water bottle on the waist belt. I took a roundabout route to the nearest sea, went west along the seashore, and headed for my town. I ran very comfortably and felt good in the first 30km, but had a very hard time in 30-45km. After 45km, I got over the wall, and could speed up.
It took too many hours, but I finished a 50km running. According to my GPS watch (Garmin 910XT), I burnt 3052kcal. I have to gobble to recover the calories.
