Dalton Twist and Heddon Basser

It was too windy and cold last night, so I was afraid I won't be in the mood to go fishing, but when I got up at 03:30 am, I felt the weather get much calmer. I decided to go fishing, and immediately prepared.

The fishing was much better than I expected, I could catch two nice bass with a Dalton Twist in hot tiger color. It is a noisy type bait, but I used it just like a pencil bait. I cast it, waited until the water ripples disappeared, and then gave it dog-walk actions slowly. I took longer pauses than usual before I knew it, then both bass hit it during the pauses.

I was almost about to go home, but I found a small roll of water surface in a little far shallow area. I headed there, and long-cast a red head Heddon Basser. As I suggested, it was a bass and I could catch it, too. This bass may be the smallest during this fishing season for me, but I like this way of fishing going with my gut.

Zara Spook, again

I expected a good fishing, as it's now a spring tide during spawning season for bass. However, what I caught today was one bass that hit my Zara Spook early in the morning. What most fishers think would be the same as I, and I saw many other fishers in each water I visited. I gave up keeping fishing before  09:00 in the morning, and went back.

Today's tackle: ABU Ambassadeur 5500C (black), Fenwick Fenglass 2053, Daiwa Sight Surf #4 (yellow), Heddon Zara Spook, Lucky 13, Musky Jitterbug, Gilmore Jumping-G, Pico Pop, etc.

Another nice one

Again, I went fishing for a short time early in this morning. When I was preparing for it last night, I put only a couple of pencil baits in my tackle box. Then I woke up this morning, watched the sky from the window, and I noticed it'd be much calmer than I expected. I added more pencil baits in my box before I left home, which resulted in a good fishing.

Yes, I caught a nice bass with an old Zara Spook. This female bass hit my bait after a longer spell of my slowly-steadily actions. I guess she was watching bait from the bottom of the pond, and finally rushed at it. She was a beautiful 5 pounder bass, and I'm feeling too happy still now.
